Why It serves the DNS?

Does Hosting/Domains/Why Serve the DNS?

If sometimes you have contracted a service of hosting, then you must know that soon to do you must it form the DNS or Domain name server (Server of domain name), but what is this and why it serves. We hope that in the following paragraphs you can clarify these doubts.

When tipeas a direction Web in a navigator, the navigator goes until a DNS or a server of domain name and asks if it knows associated direction IP of that direction. If the DNS does not know the direction then the navigator is going to ask for a recursiva search, which means that the DNS will have search the answer between each resource that can and to return with the answer or a message of error.

Then the DNS will begin an iterative, that is to say, repetitive search that could be exemplified more or less thus with something:

First server DNS will ask for direction IP from the site of the Root Nameserver or servers Root. And he will say, you know to him where I can find www.dominiox.com? And if no, you can suggest where I must look for to me?  The Root server will say, I do not know to him where he is, but where he is the .com server and you can be asked to him him.

Soon will server DNS go until nameserver .com and he will ask, you know to him where I can find www.dominiox.com? And if no, you can suggest where I must look for to me?  servidor.com will respond, no, but I know where it is dominio.com. Then, it will send to server DNS, authorized nameserver for dominiox.com

The servers authorized for the domain (they must have at least two) are those that have the exact details from where to find the hostname that you are looking for.  When server DNS consults when nameserver of dominiox.com, server DNS first will verify that nameserver he is in favor authorized of the domain. If he is it, he will ask, you know to him where I can find www.dominiox.com? And if no, you can suggest to me where I must look for. Nameserver of dominiox.com will verify that name is in its zone of registries, if is therefore it gives back a direction to him IP and if no, it says to him to the server DNS who that hostname does not exist.
